Strabismus
Also known as: squint
Strabismus means the two eyes are not pointing at the same spot. The brain then receives two mismatched images and may begin suppressing one of them, which leads to amblyopia.
In children it is a reason for early examination. Newly developed strabismus in adulthood always requires the cause to be established.
