Pupil dilation
Also known as: mydriasis
Pupil dilation is the temporary widening of the pupils with drops so that more of the retina can be seen through them. The effect sets in after about 15 to 20 minutes.
Afterwards vision is blurred and the eyes are sensitive to light, usually for a few hours. Bear that in mind when planning your journey home; driving is not advised.
